Compliance with the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism

Support will be extended to investments our exporters will undertake for mitigating the risks they will be exposed to because of the carbon border adjustment mechanism.

Diversified Credit Guarantee Composition

To give our exporters easier access to financing, we began accepting alternative types of guarantee commonly accepted in the banking industry, in addition to letters of guarantee and our Bank’s Export Receivable Insurance Policies.

Support to High Technology and Value-Added Exports

In line with our country’s export strategies, our Bank’s support schemes are prioritized in the financing of high and medium-high technology exports.

Being our country’s official export credit agency, we continue to make our funds available as the lowest-cost export finance option.

Despite the challenging conditions presented by the world trade, Türkiye reached USD 255.8 billion in its exports in 2023, setting a new record in the Republic era with the momentum it has captured in the past two years. 2024 target for goods and services exports combined is USD 375 billion, Including goods exports worth USD 267 billion.

General Manager’s Message

Being our country’s official export credit agency, we extended cash loans worth USD 19.6 billion to our exporters in 2023 while we provided insurance cover for receivables amounting to USD 22.4 billion, thus creating a secure sales environment for our companies holding an insurance policy. Hence, our total support to exports added up to USD 42 billion.

Targets and Activities in 2024

In line with the goal of augmenting the impact of Eximbank’s support schemes on the country’s exports, it is targeted to increase the support mechanisms provided to value-added exports and SME exporters, as well as those directed towards green transformation in harmony with our country’s export strategies.
