  • In accordance with the provisions of the Export Circular, a foreign exchange sale transaction is carried out in an amount determined by you, provided that it is not less than the rate specified by the Central Bank.
  • Since the exchange rates announced by the Central Bank at 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 13:00, 14:00, and 15:00 are used for foreign exchange sales to the Central Bank, transactions may be executed between 10:00 and 15:59.

Advance Payments

Advance payment refers to the payment of the goods value by the buyer (importer) to the seller (exporter) through its bank prior to shipment. Under this payment method, the importer effectively provides financing to the exporter.

You may carry out your advance payment transactions for both import and export through our Bank.

Through Türk Eximbank’s extensive correspondent banking network, you may manage your import and export processes more efficiently and complete goods value transfers in a fast and effective manner.

For advance export transactions, you may also benefit from Türk Eximbank’s intermediary services for the collection and receipt of advance payments.

Open Account (Payment Against Goods)

This payment method involves the exporter (seller) shipping the goods to the buyer without having received payment in advance. Under the open account structure, payment is made by the buyer after a certain period following importation of the goods, in line with the agreement reached between the buyer and the seller.

You may make payment for the imported goods on an open account basis after the goods have reached the destination specified in the sales contract and have been duly received.

You may complete your open account import and export transactions swiftly and efficiently through Türk Eximbank’s broad correspondent banking network.

Collections (Documentary Collections/ Documents Against Payment)

Documentary collection refers to the process whereby the exporter (seller), after shipping the goods, forwards the documents evidencing shipment and ownership of the goods through its bank to the importer’s (buyer’s) bank, subject to the collection of the payment.

  • For your export transactions, you may benefit from our Bank’s services for forwarding documents for collection and crediting the collected amount to your accounts.
  • For import transactions, you may apply to our Bank for the collection of the documentary amount and the subsequent transfer of the funds to the exporter.

You may let your applications reach us via our branches.
